I just tell people that worse things have happend in the world and there is no government warning.
What about the September 11 attacks in America?
The bombs on busses in England?
The bombs in the train tunnels in England?
Where's the warning for those?????
I really don't think the government will ever remove the warning (which has basically been the same for the last few years) for Bali, as the minute they do, and something (touch wood it doesn't) goes wrong then the government will be held liable for sure!!!
I feel there is plenty more 'unsafe' places to travel than Bali, nothing has happend in Australia yet (as in terrorist attack)......makes you wonder if we are safe here.
I would just assure her that there is security everywhere, you won't be going 'clubbing' and hanging around crowded areas etc (anything to make her feel better). Text her or email everyday?
I am taking my 13yr old daughter for her first Bali trip in 2 weeks, it will be my 13th trip.
