I can assure you TA are not pocketing any extra money on Bali bookings. Bali bookings trust me are very minimal in commissions paid. I should know. Ive been working in the travel industry for nearly 13 years. Prices yes have increased but are still affordable.
Cant expect anything to stay the same for ever!!! Your experience will be different depending on how good your agent is. There are agents and there are agents. Many times I have got cheaper prices for clients who have attempted to book online.
