I went a couple of years ago on the quads and it was unreal. My husband went on the buggies last time but said the quads were better but hey that is just personal opinion. I have also heard that the quads do not do the sane trip anymore maybe someone will answer you that has just recently been. We also took backpacks full of lollypops and I will never forget the smile on the kids faces. It was well worth it. I think if your son knows how to ride a motorbike they will probably let him on his own. When we went there was only one automatic so I had to take manual and didnt have a clue. I ran out of fuel half way through the trip as my husband said get out of 2nd gear. This is all part of the trip and I will always remember it. Do it and have a great day.
