The type you can get done in Bali now are real hair, the ones I am talking about are not plaited or done as a weft (the stitched in strips as detailed below). Small clumps of hair are bonded to your own hair - for a full head of hair you are looking at about 200 extensions (10 packets), but it does depend on how thick your own hair is. Cost would be around $AUS130, but depends on the quality of hair used. I would recommend that after you get it done, go and get a hair cut to blend it more into your own hair and avoid the 'curtain' effect. I also recommend getting more than one colour, it looks more natural rather than one blank colour - again depends on your own hair colour. Be prepared to keep them in for a while as if you try and get them out too soon they are a bugger to detach. I don't believe this type of extension are that heavy or hot, but for the first couple of days they are a bit uncomfortable, after that they loosen up a bit.
