one for selling rupiah for people wanting to change $$ to Rp (eg $=Rp6500), and another rate for people wanting to change Rp to $$ ($=Rp8300). You must know which rate is being talked about. They have a big difference between the two so they make profit both ways. The rate for changing $$ to Rp is always far better in Bali and never worth changing at Travelex elsewhere. Most other changers have a much smaller spread than Travelex but there are always different rates for buying or selling any currency.
