and you will pretty much be gluten free. I had a gluten free diet without even thinking about it when I lived in Indonesia.
Avoid anything western.
Rice is gluten free. even many of the local sweets are made with rice flour with tapioca.
So go for rice, satay, fresh seafood, stir fry vegetables, gado gado, ayam goreng/bakar with fresh tomato sambal, etc. Might be time to get into the brem or arak and forget beer if you have to drink.
