I always have a giggle Pam about people asking here on this forum...
"Where's the best place to eat" blah blah blah :))
I guess I'm very lucky having a indonesian wife, for when we are in Bali or Surabaya & Java, we rarely eat at top restaurants (unless taken out sometime by a wealthy friend) I really enjoy eating where the average indo person eats, even a roadside vendor or one of those street tent food vendors places.
The foods gotta be good there if everyone goes there, Huh !
I've always been tempted to pop up into a discussion and say, "Go where the locals eat !"
Pam, do you live in Aussie?
It's fantastic what your medical friends are doing, wish I had the resources and money behind me to be able to help people like that.
I've always said to Novi if we win millions on lotto, that's what we would do.
Do you medical friends ever work in central east Java?
Like around Semerang area?
I'm writing this and making sure my wife does not see as it's upsetting for her. She has 2 children living with her ex's parents near Semerang, at a village called Purwodadi.
My wife Novi is really shunned by them for moving away to Jakarta (to find work to send money back to them for her kids etc) and later moving here to Australia with me.
Novi's 13 year old daughter has a medical probelm as she's been disabled from birth with one on her knee joints fused together.
Pretty sad.
talk again later, Pam.......Cheers Allan & Novi.
