One of the cooking classes will get you started, and while they are sometimes not so much hands on you do pick up great ideas and useful recipes. I like to cook the black rice pudding, a favourite for us and its easy. I have done a fish curry wrapped in banana leaf - divine. The book 'Fragrant Rice' has some useful recipes and there are some on the internet. My hubby has been hounding me to make the peanut satay sauce, he loves that when its made fresh. You've got me going now, I might look up a recipe for Cap Cay - how good is that. Cheers.
