When we were ther the door lock failed with me in the room and my wife outside. It took a couple of hours to get the door open. We were then moved from this poolside noisy room to up the front on the left side facing the rear. The door had no lock...just a chain and padlock. The airconditioner worked part time. The toilet faced the bath
so that when you sat down to bog, your head was actually over the bath. You had to remove your daks before squatting as you had to part your legs to 180 degree angle to be able to perch on the can and with pants round ankle you couldn't spread the legs wide enough.
The linen was clean and the bed OK if I remember correctly but I think we had some power failures.
The breakfast was basic to say the least. The restaurant(If you can call it that) is at the front and open to the street. Dogs wander in and idiots feed them and say goo ga noises. Bloody mangy looking feral dogs nudging up to you whilst trying to consume a very average breakfast.
We got a free spa as part of the package and we covered in some yellow oily stuff which stained my jocks and shorts. It would not come out.
Location is good and near Tommys cafe with it's great corn beef rolls, iced coffee and lovely girls. Over the road is Yutz restaurant which we thought was good and other forumites recommend.
So, if you want to stay in cheap accommodation then you couls do worse I suppose but I would not bank on it.
