more and it what a JBR should be, we stated at the Jayakarta apartments last june, a lot seem to complain about the three minute walk to the pool but if I want to go for a swim here it a 45 minute drive, I know which I would rather, dealing with the seller both market and beach seller seems to depend on your frame of mind, I have found if you smile have a joke around and are not rude it can be a lot of fun (I will admit its not always easy at 36deg and 80% humility to keep a sense of humor though!) we are going back in 7 weeks for our 5th trip (no kids this time) and just started planing another trip for october and all the kid 16,17,19 and 21 have already said they are coming with!
It does sound like you found some of the best of Bali being the people (but you are just touching the surface) if you are prepared to go back and venture further afield
there is lots more you see and do, then you will be hooked like most the people on this forum .
