we have found out that Direct rooms, do not book the rooms until 7 days prior to arrival, that is why the hotel didnt have a booking, this was no good for us as we needed to know immediately as we are going in peak period (Xmas)and didnt want to arrive and have no rooms available. I have learnt a valuable lesson and lost 5% of the total cost paid. I have now book direct with another hotel. thanks again
