when booked through an agent, your name will not be allocated to a room till at least 2 weeks before you fly in. after finding this out, we always book our own accomodation. we email the resort and then phone them if needed. we have done this for a couple of years. we have also booked our rooms before we got flights this time around. we also found that we get a better rate than going through an agent.
