brigade.
There has been some catching up to do, but I think there has been something of an over correction in some areas.
Some of the numbers quoted on here for family holidays have been ridiculous.
Whoever is trying it on, be it agents, middle men or the end service providers run the risk of overcooking the situation.
Hopefully, the global downturn will take some wind out of the sails of some of the "new rich" countries that have been partly responsible for driving prices up.
It would be a great shame if Bali became an exclusive holiday for a demographic not including ordinary families, young first time O/Seas travellers, and even OA pentioners who cannot afford to travel in their own country.
I suppose that market forces will prevail, and what will be will be, but lets hope that Bali, and the industries supporting and promoting Bali do not loose sight of how Bali has become what it is (regards tourism) over the last 70 or 80 years.
