Your computer is now infected, the standard process is that the virus requires a restart to embed its self in the system. Just because you don't see anything doesn't mean your computer is clean. You need to have it swept by a reputable virus scanner. You can log on to the Symantec site (www.symantec.com) and run a full virus scan on line for free. Better safe than sorry.
