We were advised yesterday that Qantas have cancelled their flight from Perth to Denpasar on 2 Dec and the return flight on 10 Dec. They wanted us to shift to Jet* flights on 1 Dec however we have something important on that day and couldn't. So they've rebooked us on 2 Dec with Garuda. I'm very disappointed as we booked specifically because we wanted to fly Qantas and rearranged our whole holiday around their very limited number of flights to Denpasar. There seems to be no compensation from Qantas even though we lose virtually a day of our holiday, returning on a 12 noon flight instead of a midnight one.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I suppose it is the price we pay for the peace and quiet we expect to find in Bali.
