If you buy a Garmin GPSMap 60 it can be mounted on a motorcycle. You will also need to buy the suction mount. Make sure you dampen the rubber suction before sticking it onto the clear perspex covering the speedometor. For added security tie a line from the GPS to the handlebar. I have travelled hundreds of kms and have never had it fall off so long as you moisten the rubber suction pad.
You can check out sales@balinavigator.com to see if they will rent you one. It also has the auto routing map of Bali and suction mount. They have three but I am not sure if they are for rent.
With this system stay off the main roads. There are very scenic routes to Ubud on the back roads.
