I use to work in a tanning salon and two of the biggest enemies of fake tan are salt water and clorine, will strip the fake tan either straight off, or make it incredible blotchy. If you really want to tan your better off getting something like holiday skin, its cheaper and its only a gradual tan so its not as noticable when it comes off.
