Whether or not they hurt depends of course on your pain tolerance levels, and where the tattoo is located.
I had mine done this year on my shoulder and it didn't hurt, in fact I was so relaxed that I fell asleep having it.
My husband had one done on his leg between the knee and ankle and it hurt in a few spots, mainly closer to where there was bone.
Cost .. about half or less of what you would expect to pay in Australia.
