we had a fabric lantern taken away last time, they didnt even give us the option to have it treated. it was one of the white ones that you see with the really thick decorative 'thread' woven into it. As customs pointed out, the thread was really a root and was no way allowed. a bag we had with a similar look was ok though. i couldnt tell the difference. :)
