& a BIMC member. I've had minor surgery there & can't praise the medical team there enough. Its also comforting to speak to westeners when in doubt. Please note I've also given birth in Bali & had emergency surgery at other hospitals & I count myself lucky I've always been in good care(except SOS International but thats a different story).
Don't agree about the International wing at Sanglah being 5 star as a friend of mine was there 3 weeks back for almost a week. Visited her twice & was soooooo disappointed with the condition of the hospital, its some what run down. Cracked floor tiles can be seen in both the lobby & room especially in the bathroom. Bathrooms are no where near cleaned the way they should be in a hospital & different facilities were broken, walls dirty I was actually shocked by what I saw. English wasn't that great by some patient contact staff either.
If you think BIMC is expensive just look for other alternatives or get proper medical insurance......but I'm sticking with them
