We had our mossie zapper taken from us, the woman told us that I had a hidden lethal weapon that I didnt declare, she was a bit over the top really, all she needed to do was take it, but she followed it up with a rant about it and an offical written warning, think she was having a bad day. Not sure if it is standard practise to give out written warnings, never had a problem before, and yes we were very polite.
The bad thing was we bought one for our friends in WA, so they were pulled up about it as well and had it taken when they came back to Aust as well.
