it is the most central and that will make getting around much easier for you and save your young ones having to walk too far or all of you having to squeeze into transport everytime you go anywhere.
The Tegal and Greenfields are reasonably close to the centre of Ubud but are still a reasonable walk to the centre so you will probably want transport most trips.
