My sister recently stayed at Greenfields and we spent quite a bit of time there -wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ricefields.
At the risk of causing a riot of Tegal Sari lovers: she actually went to Greenfields when she couldnt get a booking at TS for two extra nights (had subsequent TS booking-wooden room-for 3 nghts). She was thrilled with GF's and I could see why . Big spacious room , lovely furnishings, amazing view, little bar and kitchen on verandah, really good air-con-it was lovely. She moved to TS two days later and was soo disappointed she high-tailed it back to Greenfields the same day.TS felt a bit like a motel room relative to the one she had at GF and only cost a little less. She found it too big and impersonal for her taste compared to where we'd been.

She was in the newer rooms at GF (tried 3). Wahsung is gorgeous -it's cheaper-$67usd- than the next door room (also at the top whose name I forget but has uninterrupted view) because there are three coconut palms in front of the verandah which partially obscure the view! The trees however were full of little nesting birds which were beautiful to watch.
The pool was just lovely and the staff were very lovely too.
I think the trick is to book the newer rooms. Just asked her and she said beds were super comfy.
