I'm from Brissy and love the humidity so enjoy Dec / Jan in Bali.
I believe the past couple of years have been hotter in both Melbourne and Bris than Bali. The pools are just the right temp - any earlier and I find them a bit too cold to be sitting in and enjoying a drink. And.... there's always the air conditioning!
