Walter the host will tell you it's a 10min walk to the indian restaurant but it's probably double that - but saying that it was a very easy walk through the streets of the gated community where his house is. The indian restaurant is really cheap and pretty good food - all the menu is not in english so just go for the tandoori chicken and rice (Walter's suggestion!)
Money changer is at LCCT and after you meet Walter he will let you know where to go. Nothing much else to do near Jawadene - there's a 7-eleven near the indian restaurant but not much else. Although we heard there was night markets close by that are held on Sat night if that helps. Breakfast the next morning was delicious...oh and Jawadene has a nice pool area. Hope this helps.
