Stayed at Kebun Indah for four nights a couple of weeks ago. It was definitely more guesthouse than hotel but I loved it. The big house has the Padi room upstairs with one very large room and verandah and an adjunct room of fair size. Its nice but no view. Downstairs there are two single rooms. Thought the one closest to the road a bit poky,the one closest to the ricefield end of the complex was smallish but great value ($25usd).
My pick would be Cempaka room ,which is the room closest to the pool at the top-gorgeous view, charming room.(four of us were a bit squished but perfect for two ,or even three with bed on verandah).
Also very sweet was Tea-room with lovely outside bathroom. No view tho. Breakfasts enormous and yummy, people great.
