We had a wonderful 15 day holiday in Bali, flew Singapore from Adelaide can not complain, great flight long as we had to go Singapore, then to Bali.

Stayed at the Dynasty as we have 2 children 10 & 8, also traveled with my best friend of 37 years and here hubby and daughter 7, we were going over for our 40th birthdays.
Dynasty is great stayed in the new Studio room and can highly recommend them having rooms, 2 tele and DVD is great for when the kids finally had some down time, the walk to the pool area is fine and it was good sometime to get the kids away from the water, my daughter is a fish! We only used the kids club twice as the kids wonted to shop with us,
Last time they went to the club heaps. The staff is great and fun was had by the kids.
We decided due to all the hype in Australia we would stay together at night, so we did not use baby sitters and ate together (this kept family at home happy) I have to add I do believe it is a lot of media hype, and I am so glad we never cancelled, I have never felt safer, and in Bali you would have no idea what is going on, we found out 2 day later that the execution had happened. Balinese were happy about this!
Know for the fact as everything we did was great and a lot has been said about Safari park ECT
We found the food to have increased a lot from our last visit and Wine was out of the question a glass of house wine was approx $7.00 a glass, but imported wine was heaps!!!
Ate at:
Daddy café across from Dynasty nice food but cost us $73.00 for family (no alcohol at dinner)
Il fori across from Dynasty nice and better prices $47.00 for 4 (my kids did eat adult size mains not kids meals)

The new Indian at the front of the Dynasty ate there twice very nice $23 for 2 of us
Then $68.00 for the 4 of us my hubby had a mutton leg Marsala amazing meal!
The Boardwalk ate there twice approx $33 for the 4 of us lovely meal and great setting looking at the beach.
The Golden Lotus in the Dynasty very nice $72.00 for the 4 of us
Grace Kelly's ate there twice $58.00 with a few drinks and $61.00 with a more drinks this night as we stayed for the quiz nights, which were fun, we won a bungee jump but donated it back as we only had 2 days left and really just need R&R time.
At discovery centre we ate outside at a lovely café very nice meal approx $50.00 for the 4 of us and I did have a couple of wines!
We also ate inside at the food court and the meals were great and very cheap $20.00 for the 4 of us (my hubby is a big eater)
Form advice off the forum we had lunch one day at Barung 69 we were sitting at the back of the restaurant under a fan, eating meal was ok very plain but fine, when my daughter says she saw a rat, run behind a picture on the wall, we all looked but saw nothing, then she say again see and hanging down from the picture, was the rats long tail just swinging side to side, I moved as rats are not my favorite animal, I tried to keep eating but must admit I had lost my appetite, next thing its head was poking out from behind the picture.
We ended up paying the bill and going. I know there are heaps of rats and mice in Bali, but when you see them it is different. So this was not our favorite place.

Dynasty just as it was there, great service but a lot pricier than else where.
1hr foot massages $17.00
45 min Massage in outside area $14.00
1hr Massage $20.00
Across from the Dynasty M&M was great especially with taken the kids $7.00 for 1 hr massage $7.00 for manicure and pedicure, went here several times.
My Body, just up fro the Dynasty going towards Centro $7.00 for 1 hr massage, my hubby liked here as they has 2 guys working there who gave a hard massage, $7.00 for candle waxing my ears very interesting thought the candle burning in my ear would feel warm, but it didn't and after they show you all the wax and dirt that comes out.
Also tried Hana Salon off poppies 2 (very cheap)
We had 3 back and neck massages for ½ an hour each $8.50 for all 3
My daughter and I had 1hr massage, nails and toes painted and flowers painted on for $15.00
My friend got here hair braided here for $11.00 took 1.5 hrs
None of these place were fancy, but they were all clean, air-conditioned and staff were great, I am too inpatient for a 3hr package so 1hr massage is fine for me.

Carrefour great shopping brought L'Oreal face and eye cream $14.00 each
Spent approx $150.00 and got a trolley full of shampoo conditioner etc
