Of course it's possible to put some of your hard earned into something that won't even get you bank interest. There are plenty of these in Bali.There are also plenty of people involved in businesses that are on the verge of going under and plenty of others that have done "THE LOT" so to speak.
There is such a thing as COMMON SENSE which seems missing altogether in some people.How can it be in a land where labour can be bought for a pittance to set up in a simple retail or food or similar business offering goods and services at Balinese prices and expect to make a profit.
