write down the number to check credit, I was not aware it was on the package as I don't read Indonesian. I get them to write down the number as locals can give the prefix to dial out of the country, that is the most effective. It seems that there is more than one choice of prefix and one has a more economical rate. Also I have seen questions on this forum aking "how do I dial out of the country?" I am sure that some people are as non mobile savvy as me, so I feel it is best to ask the experts who are only too willing to help.
