you should also look at Lombok. For the kind of money you have that might offer more opportunities. If you do your research you will find there are several smallish beach resort/hotels on the market for around that kind of money. Can't say I would invest my money that way - I think you would make better money investing outside of Indonesia and living off the income with less risk. But if that's your dream ...
