We are in Ubud at the moment and have not been able to buy much in the way of wine or spirits here. Some of the restaurants even have drinks that they cannot make because they don't have the spirits.

We're leaving on Sunday for Legian and wondered if there are any stores that have a good supply of wine and spirits that we should try. We are a group of 16 women and our duty free supply has almost run out. Thank goodness that most of us like Bintang but there are a few that are wine drinkers.

BTW, Ubud is quite busy although there is no obvious presence of police or anything that would suggest there is extra security here. It might be different at the beach but Ubud is just the same as ever. Lots of rain though but that hasn't stopped us from shopping, bike riding, rice paddy treks, spa treatments, etc.

Any suggestion as to where we can get wine etc., would be most appreciated.
