I would imagine that what you mean is the higher number of muslim communities on the island.
I dont mean to be harsh but if you are planning on visiting the island I am sure you will get a lot more out of your holiday but knowing at least a little about the place first. I wold suggest getting either the Lonley Planet or Rough Guide to Bali & Lombok and you will have lots of invaluable info for both parts of your trip. A new Rough Guide has just been published if not in the shops now should be any day!
There are several flights a day between Lombok & Bali.
