I'm a pretty avid supporter of 'Ka's Tattoo's' which is located outside the 'Green Garden Hotel'. I've had about 25 hours of work done so far and I'm about to head back over in a fortnight for another 10 to 15 hours worth of ink'. I have personally never had nor heard of a problem through 'Ka's Tattoo' and I have seen heaps of ink done there. The following is a link to 'Ka's Tattoo' website. Gesang is the artist name that I use. He has done all of my work but the other boys in the shop are really good to. They always use sterile gear, good quality ink, and good quality tattoo guns. If you would like anymore info just let me know. Before I got my first tattoo from Gesang I did HEAPS of research on the local tattoo guys and I personally found that Gesang was my preference based on his previous art work and strong work practices (i.e Cleaning, sterilization, Ink and gun use, etc). ---- http://ameblo.jp/kas-tattoolife/
P.S - I think you will find that "Bad Stories" are hard to find due to the fact that 1 bad story can potentially ruin an artists career. Saying this I did find in my research of Bali Tattoo Artists (4 years ago) that "GOOD" sterilization units were hard to find. Some artists used sterilization units that were just for show and some artists didn't even have one.
