I found it was better to transfer photos from memory card to computer then buy a cheap USB, 1gig for about $10 is plenty and transfer photos on to this.
That way you keep your memory card in your camera.
The USB plugs into your digital photo frame and can stay there.
When you have new photos to add just send them to the USB from computer just the same and you will have all your favorite photos displaying on the frame.
Hope you can follow all this.
If all this fails grab hold of a teenager who will do it in a flash!!
