we took 4 kids this year, 9,13, and 2 17year olds. Had an absolute ball. We would not have known anything was happening except for the phone calls and messages from Australia. We were there for 16 days, stayed at Puri Raja in Legian which we always stay at , main reason I feel very safe there, its a smaller hotel which is locally owned and the staff are just great. The streets were quiet at night, but family's certainly were still out and about. Commonsense needs to prevail, obviously you cannot avoid what Might happen. We still did all the things we love, walks on the beach, dinners at our favourite restaurants, but I did'nt let the girls go to Bounty nightclub, which they were fine about, and we didnt do big shopping centres. Go and have a great time, relax and enjoy everything that makes bali the beautiful and special place it is.
