Lombok, usually easy and fairly cheap to fly over and stay at a boutique place right on beach, keep within 5kms or so of the Senggigi tourist strip that has a few good restaurants and bars with live music for the evenings. Alternatively give Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno or Gili Air a go...Gili Trawangan having the most choice in accom and good food.
Ubud is another place for wandering around with great food choices and Candi D for a quieter pace at the beach.
