up here in Darwin. Hard to get used to them when the noise at times just makes you sit up stark terrified in the middle of the night.
The entire house shakes.
When theres a real "crack" you know somethings been hit. Usually a tree. Ive had My whole verandah light up and get that sizzle sound.
I can imagine if you havent ever been exposed to these storms you would be very frightened.
