I rang CBA to complain and was told that the terms and conditions in the CBA book explain that overseas ATM's (CBA or otherwise) incur that charge. However, the lady counted them up and gave me back the money!! Yes, I tell no lie, a bank has given back money that they had a right to take!!!! I'm still a little shocked.
Mind you, you would think I would have read this in the terms and conditions - a great read and perfect for bedtime reading. Have it beside my bed at all times. (Just looking at the cover sends me into immediate sleep).
