We are going back for our second trip to Bali and will spend one week in Sanur and ten days at Melasti in Legian. There have been a lot of media hysteria in Melbourne about Bali but I can honestly say I am not worried.
We will be visiting the school of a primary school aged boy we sponsor when we are there as well as doing the touristy things like water Bom park (they may have to something about that name lol).
We will not be going out to nightclubs much to our newly turned 18 yo son's chagrin but as long as we take normal sensible precautions then all will be well.
Last year we were on the way to the market when we saw a demonstration - normal sensible thing was to do a U-Turn and go in opposite direction. Easily solved.
