We did. For the booking I emailed the Safari Park before we went to find out current shuttle times and the departure point and was advised the bus leaves from outside the Tourist Info place that is situated on Jl Raya Ubud near the intersection of Monkey Forest Rd.
When we got there I asked at the Tourist Info if they knew where the shuttle might be. It's a bit hit and miss because it depends upon where the bus can get parking on the day. Anyway they were very helpful and helped us keep an eye out for the bus. It ended up to be parked in the part of the street that extends north of the intersection from Monkey Forest Rd. It was fairly easy to spot because it's evident from the paint job that it is the Safari Park shuttle. You just need to keep an eye out for it.
I'm pretty sure the morning shuttle left around 10.00/10.15am and there was another scheduled around midday. We had a choice of two return times - 2.30pm or 4.00pm and we opted for the latter.
We were the only people on the bus so the driver kindly dropped us off at our hotel in Ubud and not back at the departure point.
We went in April this year so it would be best to email them for current arrangements and to register your interest.
