When we crave a mie goreng fix but need to do it on the quick, I buy Indo Food Mie Goreng noodles. Take out the spice packets and mix together in a bowl (except the fried onion packet). Boil the water, drop an egg in the water to poach, place the uncooked noodles on top, add a small amount of finely sliced carrot and bok choy, and when the 2-3 minutes are up drain them quickly and toss into the prepared bowl. Mix through letting the egg yolk run through the noodles, top with the fried onion. Enjoy.
