We caught the Safari Park complimentary shuttle from Ubud and paid entry at the gate (US 25). Others we met there had purchased tickets from one of the tourist booths in Kuta/Legian and paid less than us. You may be able to get better deal from the booths especially if you are going to be in Bali in early December as I understand it is 'low season' then. At least you know it is US 25 at the gate for a starting point.
I sent an email to the Safari Park prior to our holiday to find out the times of the shuttle from the area in which we would be staying at the time. Suggest you do the same. Their wesite is 'balisafarimarinepark.com'
Our bus driver told us the complimentary shuttle leaves from certain areas in Kuta, Sanur, Ubud and Nusa Dua.
