Try Melati cottages, very reasonable with large rooms older style rooms.
I stayed there earlier this year and was about 25Aud singleroom but definately under 50Aud for 3 people.
It is very basic but lovely staff breakfast good and you can get transport to the centre of ubud.
They have a website so you can check it out there and then decide.
