it is always hard to know how to help...did your friend Made have any children..if so maybe a donation to the family to help the children/family..we too lost a lovely spirit in Bali some time ago(first bomb) we helped by paying for there eldest daughter to go to tourism school..it cost the same a a bouquet of flowers in AUstralia about $60AUD as education is so important for these beautiful people..and they are always struggling financially and the next generation of young Balinese will make a difference to there financial position as they are such a cloe knit family loving people.
Good luck and visiting the family will be a lasting gift of kindred spirit.
