The Indonesian currency (and therefore Bali also) is the rupiah but you can easily change almost any world currency in Bali.
I suggest that you get hold of a map of Bali (again try a Google search) and decide where you want to go. Your hotel will have tours advertised at the front desk or you can hire a car and driver on the street just outside the entrance of any hotel. For about Rp400,000 you can travel for a full day anywhere you want to go.
