find it cheaper and less stressful to drive 3 hrs to Canberra leave car with friend and fly to Syd stay overnight at Formulae1 family room and get shuttle in morning - don't have to worry about fitting surfboards into taxis etc. The worst thing we found apart from hideous parking fees in Syd was getting off the plane and driving 7 hrs home!!
