we went to the safari park this year and the zoo 3 years ago, we found both were good, if you have younger kids they would like the safari park better than the zoo, I would be happy to go and see the zoo again and probably will when we are back there in Jan, I have heard the zoo has suffered a bit with lower numbers since the safari park has opened but that is hear say.
Will go back to the bird and reptile parks this trip as well (off topic)
