The part of Amed I have seen, I think it was Selang Beach, didn't have too many places to eat which were within walking distance. How about the location of these hotels?
One is not too bothered about the softness of the sand as one was not intending to sunbathe on the beach in the royal thong. I just didn't want to have to scale the side of a cliff or walk down a thousand steps to get to it.
