The CIA doesn't know, the Indonesian security service doesn't know, AFP doesn't know, nobody knows - except interceptions and threats - which is why you have a travel advisory.

Don't expect to make an informed decision by asking expats or tourists because they have absolutely no information to make any informed recommendations.

For my own part I don't worry about it at all and have lived my life since 2002 exactly the same as I did before.
But you cannot possibly make any sort of informed decision based on how I, or anyone else, have decided to react.

If anyone knew what was actually going down they would stand down the 3500 police on full alert in Bali and thousands more throughout Java and elsewhere and just concentrate on the known threat.

You have to make your own decision.
