On our recent trip I had occasion to ask for an "Incident Report", having been biten by a dog, to the shinbone. This was in case I was observed to be more rabid than usual, attempting to make love to VW's and other strange behaviour. Maybe barrack for Collingwood or one of those non-WA teams. (Don't know if irrational behaviour is covered by Insurance)
The main Police Station has now been moved further down the same street about 1k towards the airport. The previous one, closer to the markets, is still in operation for Traffic Police.
The courtesy was really good and at no time was I asked for "process money". When I left, the burly officer linked my arm to escort me to the street and treated me like his Grand-dad. We looked a right pair of 100k DayanaPura-ites.
